BAR-TEK 02M & 02Q GEARBOX 4TH GEAR INPUT SHAFT SUPPORT
Fits ALL VW / Audi / Seat and Skoda 6 Speed Manual 02M & 02Q Gearboxes
One of the biggest weaknesses of the 02M & 02Q Gearboxes is 4th Gear stripping teeth. This can become a major problem on vehicles with high torque figures. The issue is that the vibration and twisting force that goes through the input shaft and the shaft opposite, this pushes the gears apart. The result is that the 4th gear no longer engages correctly, this can result in the 4th gear breaking off or stripping the teeth.
To fit the following Engine Codes with the 02Q 6 Speed Gearbox (Engine Codes can be found on a sticker on the Cam Belt Cover or in the Boot):
