Description
BAR-TEK 2.0L TFSI EA113 OIL CATCHTANK + PCV FIX
This is the best solution to minimize carbonization of the intake valves.
Too much coked intake valves can lead to a major engine damage due to valve breakage!
Further disadvantages of coking:
- Unround idling
- power loss
The coking at the intake valves and in the intake duct is caused by longlife oils, bad quality fuel and short-distance driving.
In general, the coking can not be prevented, only delay.
That’s why we recommend installing our Oil Catchtank Kit.
The kit contains:
- PCV Fix with engine ventilation
- Oil Catchtank, size: 140mm x 80mm
- Holder for the Catchtank
- 1x 1 meter Dash 10 lines with nylon fabric (especially oil resistant)
- 1x 45 ° Dash 10 fitting
- 3x Straight Dash 10 Fitting
- 2x NPT on Dash 10 Adapter 90° for the Catchtank
- 1x adapter boost gauge for the intake manifold
- 1x roll of Teflon tape
It may be possible that depending on the vehicle’s longer wiring or other fittings are needed.
Note about cold weather climates:
Catch can kits are designed for warm weather climates only. If you live in an area with sub-freezing temperatures in winter months, extra precaution must be taken as condensation in catch can and lines can freeze and cause pressure to build up in the crankcase. We recommend checking catch can contents frequently or removing the system entirely during cold winter months.
